Looking at the world with the naked eye seems normal, to most of us. What we don’t realize is that there are things going on around us in which we can’t see through our plain sight of view. “AR” (Altered Reality) dives into creations that are around us, even though we can’t see them through our own eyes- but through other lenses, we can step into a different reality where things are in fact present, even though you may not see them in our reality.

I chose to go to a park in Richmond to film my virtual art gallery. There, you will find a we code that once you scan it- you can look through your phone camera and see an art display or work I’ve created since attending VCU. I think my favorite part about this project was the inspiration to learn how to do it and to create more. I will definitely be putting more work up throughout the city after graduation.

Altered reality

I have always been intrigued by the subject of this project, and wanted to explore it further. Taking on this task gave me the opportunity to conduct serious research and produce high-quality work. Moreover, while documenting the entire process, I learned a lot about various methodologies and testing techniques. I’m thrilled about the result, and look forward to the next challenge.
